Hello:

I am organizing the Jacksons/OTW Candids & Events.  I would like to know the year and/or event for any of these candids, so that I can create and move them to a more specific location:

1) Various Candids Mid-1976 to Early 1979

If you know any of them, please post the YEAR and EVENT (or location) in this thread, along with the URL of the image so I know which one you are referring to.

The ones on the rooftop was when The Jacksons made an appearance at a 'Woolco' department store in Memphis to promote their new album in 1977.
The guys had to get on the roof because the crowd had gotten so out of control.

This one was taken by a dutch couple in disneyland 1979:

This is from a studio 54 wiz party in 78, the same one with the dancers if i can recall correctly.

Keep those updates coming! The Jacksons gallery is really starting to take shape, and I would love to be able to sort the Candids by year, etc.

After watching teh photos from the 77 grammys, I have a doubt wether mine is really from that event or not...... help?

Actually, I think it is.  Unless someone else doesn't think so?

well the suit definitely is the same but the shirt seems a bit pinkish and I think michael's hair is a bit shorter there plus it seems michael's wearing some sort of golden chain...... mmm. I don't know, if you think it's ok than it's perhaps just me hallucinating or something. *grins*

But you can see the same curtain and the same shirt of the woman standing next to him, holding a grammy in this picture:

So I think it does belong there.

I think his shirt was sort of pink but you can't see it on the other pictures because there's too much ligh...perhaps.

this interview is so fascinating to me.. i could watch it over and over.

you can tell that Michael is either bored or wasn't listening during most of these questions. i love the way he looks into the camera and says "It's very important" after the Osmonds question.
