Toriano Adaryll (Tito) Jackson was born on October 15th 1953. He’s the second oldest brother of the Jackson family. The story goes that it was actually all because of Tito that the Jackson brothers started rehearsing and performing. He had secretly been playing his father’s guitar. One day, he did something wrong and broke the guitar. When his father found out, he got a punishment and then, Joseph told Tito to show him what he could do. He was pretty good and that’s why Joe started rehearsing with his boys.
Tito always played the guitar in the group and would very often wear a hat. Even today, Tito still plays the guitar (though he switched from bubblegum to the blues) and loves to wear bowler hats.

Apart from playing his guitar, Tito is said to be a fervent photographer. Here, Tito’s holding his camera. This picture was taken at this photo shoot and he’s wearing one of his signature hats. Oh, what I’d give to take a look at his pictures from those days!
(Right On! magazine, August 1972)
One of my favorite pictures of Tito. This picture was taken by Norman L. Hunter in 1970.

And I also wanted to add at least one color picture but I found it hard to find one. Tito really didn’t get enough color pinups!
On a sidenote: The J5 released their Christmas album October 15th, 1970 too!

Nice post raisa! I didn't know Tito was so interested in Photography. It would indeed be awsome to glance at his pics from those J5 years!
